Learn to create beautiful jewelry of your own design. Our instructors will walk you through choosing your beads and creating your designs.
Basic Beading
One of our instructors will walk you through choosing your beads and creating your own design. The different tools and beading wire will be explained. You will learn how to attach a clasp using crimp beads. When your class is completed you will leave with a finished piece of your own design.
Basic Wire
In this 2 hour class you will learn to use flush wire cutters, round-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers, hammer, anvil & other various wire working tools . Discussion will be on types of wire, gauge, temper, & supplies for wire working. You will practice wire working techniques as you make spirals, eyepins, headpins, ear wires & several pairs of earrings. No experience with wire working is necessary.
Aluminum Whimsy Earrings
In this 1.5 hour class you will learn to use flush wire cutters, round-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers, chain-nose pliers, hammer, anvil or bench block & other various wire working tools . You will practice wire working techniques as you make several spiral dangles to create a triple dangle pair of earrings. Emphasis will be placed on proper spacing for the triple hang the earrings incorporate. No experience with wire working is necessary.

Charmed Linen
In this 2 hour class you will learn to use flush wire cutters, round-nose pliers & flat-nose pliers, while making an 18" to 24" knotted, triple-strand necklace. You will also learn to work with Irish waxed linen, multi-strand designs, spatial knotting, tri-fold crimps and gluing . Design elements will be discussed. Over half of the necklace will be completed in class with complete instructions for completion at home. Some experience with basic beading is suggested. STUDENTS MUST ARRIVE 20 MINUTES EARLY TO SELECT MATERIALS.
Charmed Wire
In this 2 hour class you will learn to use flush wire cutters, round-nose pliers, flat or chain-nose pliers, and a wire coiler (i.e. Coiling Gizmo) in making a 7.5 to 8" three-segment wire bracelet with various wide hole beads, spacers, and charms. Design elements will be discussed. You will also learn to measure, mark, and manipulate wire for coiling, making loops, and forming into curved segments. Some experience with wire working is suggested.

Five earrings to make in one class. Pick your favorite or learn them all. Your original design can include dangles, chandeliers and use of chain.

Intermediate Wire
Create a bracelet with components using the Wig Jig and the Twist and Curl. With the Wig Jig you’ll create components that are uniform in size and shape. The Twist & Curl creates a coil of wire with various design options. Wear your finished bracelet home!

PMC (Precious Metal Clay)
Learn to handle this unusual product which is fine silver in a base of clay. When fired clay burns away leaving a fine silver piece. In the class you will make several charms which can be used for a bracelet or earrings. This is a five hour class which includes the firing of your creations. Materials extra.
Polymer Clay Basics
Experience the thrill of creating your own jewelry with polymer clay. The class will consist of conditioning, marbleizing and making simple canes. We’ll create pendants and/or beads for earrings or bracelets.

Polymer Clay Intermediate
Now you know the basics and it's time to experienced texturing and unique coloring of the product. We'll use rubber stamps and inks creating an interesting necklace.
Russian Spiral
This variation of spiral rope works up to look like a netted tube. Soft and supple, it gives your bracelet or necklace a wonderful look.

Saturn Pendant Beaded Bead
Learn an easy way to embellish a simple wooden bead with spokes of seed beads and a ring of crystals, then wire up a spiral to hang your celestial bead on a glittering chain for an eye-catching pendant!
Sierra Spiral Bracelet
In this class, Cathy (and Justin) will instruct you on how to use a variation of the Spiral Rope Stitch technique. As the basis for its creation, this off-loom weaving class will use seed, triangle, and cube beads, needle, and thread. The Sierra Spiral Stitch is a wonderful opportunity to play with texture and color, and creates a versatile twisting beaded rope. Once you learn the basics of this technique, you'll be fast and furiously creating new pieces, allowing your creative juices to flow regarding your use of color or making the decision to go monochromatic, or using varying sizes of beads. Inspiration with this technique is wide-open.

Wire Wrap Flower Bracelet
This is the perfect class to learn the art of wire wrapping. You will start off by taking several focal beads and wire wrapping them to a closed jump ring to create the base of your bracelet. Then the fun really begins by adding lots of bead dangles into the jump rings. You will become an expert at wire wrapping by the time you finish this bracelet.
